In Gladiator's Glory the wild is a burning brazier, and it keeps burning after it wins. A wild that helps a win is given a value of x2, x3 or x5, stays on the board for the rest of the cascade, and once the reels settle every brazier still burning is summed into one multiplier for the total. PG Soft released this Roman arena slot in September 2023. Over 95 demo spins at 12.00, the three that ended with braziers on the board paid 316.80, 168.00 and 162.00.
Same game, real money
Cafe Casino runs the same Gladiator's Glory with the same math and adds a welcome bonus for players from the United States:
300% up to $2,000 + 150 FS 18+ · T&Cs apply · the demo stays free720 ways in the arena
The five reels hold three, four, five, four and three symbols, a diamond shape that gives 720 ways. Ways are counted from the first reel, and paid symbols are replaced by falling ones. The wild only appears on the three middle reels and replaces every symbol except the scatter, a lion's head on a golden shield.
The same diamond of 3-4-5-4-3 rows is used by Heist Stakes, where a wild on the middle reel turns the whole reel wild. My 12.00 stake was the demo's opening setting, 0.30 times level 2 times twenty, which made a paytable point worth 0.60.
From wild to multiplier
Spin 30 shows the full cycle. The first round had two wilds, plain braziers at the foot of reels two and three, and both were part of the win, which the game marks with flaming claw slashes.
Once that win was paid, the two wilds were given values, x3 on reel two and x5 on reel three. They stayed on the board through the following rounds, and the game showed their sum, x8, above them.
The cascade collected 39.60 in way wins; times eight, that was the 316.80 Mega Win, 26.4 stakes. Without the braziers the same cascade would have paid a little over three stakes.
Three braziers, one sum
Spin 82 built a larger total from smaller pieces. Wilds turned into x2 on reel two, then x3 and x2 on reel three as the rounds went on, and the game added them to x7.
The way wins came to 24.00, and 24.00 × 7 = 168.00. On spin 95, the last one I recorded, x3 and x2 on reel three lifted 32.40 to 162.00.
The values are added rather than multiplied together, so two x5 braziers give x10, not x25.
95 spins in the arena
My run stopped at 95 spins when the recording froze, so the figures cover those. I finished 87.00 up on a 100,000.00 demo balance, so the 1,140.00 staked returned 1,227.00. Twenty-nine spins paid. The three brazier spins above brought 646.80 between them, more than half of the return; the next three, spins 70, 1 and 56, paid 75.60, 74.40 and 60.60, and eighteen winning spins paid under 25.00.

Ten free spins, braziers that stay
The lion shields are the scatters: three open 10 free spins, a fourth and fifth add two each, and retriggers are allowed. Every brazier earned during the feature is also added to a total kept under the reels until the round ends, and each free spin is paid with its own braziers plus that running total. The bonus never triggered in my 95 spins; what is written here comes from the rules screen.
Gladiator, tiger and the rest
| Symbol | 3 / 4 / 5 per way | Five on one way at 12.00 |
|---|---|---|
| Gladiator in a gold helmet | 10 / 15 / 20 | 12.00 |
| Tiger | 8 / 10 / 15 | 9.00 |
| Silver helmet | 6 / 8 / 10 | 6.00 |
| Shield and sword, sandal | 5 / 6 / 8 | 4.80 |
| A | 3 / 5 / 6 | 3.60 |
| K, Q | 2 / 3 / 5 | 3.00 |
| J, 10, 9 | 1 / 2 / 4 | 2.40 |
A whole way of five gladiators pays just one stake. On a 720-way board several ways often connect at once, yet the three biggest spins of my session all needed braziers to get past four stakes.
