PG Soft Play (pgsoft-play.com) is an independent, English-language guide to the slots of PG Soft, the studio also known as Pocket Games Soft. Every review on the site embeds the free PG Soft demo of the game and reports a test session we recorded on that demo ourselves: the stake, the number of spins, the best wins with their arithmetic, and the final balance, losses included. The site is not run by PG Soft and is not the studio's official website, which is pgsoft.com.

Are the demos real PG Soft games?
Yes. The demo window on each review loads the game from PG Soft's public demo service at public.pg-demo.com, using the studio's own game ID. The game files, the random number generator and the virtual balance all run on PG Soft's servers; this site only frames the game and does not host or modify it. The demo therefore shows PG Soft's own loading screen, rules and paytable screens and bet panel.
The licences belong to the studio, not to this site. PG Soft is licensed by the Malta Gaming Authority and the UK Gambling Commission, and its games are tested by independent labs such as BMM Testlabs and Gaming Associates. A demo uses virtual credits, so it is free and carries no risk, but it also pays nothing real.
How a review is made
Each review published since October 2026 follows the same procedure, and older pages are being rewritten to it:
- Official figures first. Release date, RTP and maximum win are taken from the game's page on pgsoft.com. If PG Soft does not publish volatility for a game, we do not invent a rating.
- Rules from inside the game. Features, paytable values, ways or lines and the free spins rules are read from the help screens of the demo itself, and the paytable is reproduced as a table.
- A recorded session. We play a session on the demo, normally 100 spins, at a stated stake, usually the demo's default bet, and keep the frames of every winning spin. The screenshots in the reviews are our own captures from those sessions.
- Arithmetic you can check. For the best wins we show how the amount was built: bet size times level gives the value of one paytable point, points times ways or lines give the round, and multipliers are applied on top.
- Honest results. The review states how many spins paid, the best result and the final balance, whether the session won or lost. If the free spins did not trigger, the review says so and describes them from the rules.
- Re-checks after publishing. Pages are re-read against the frames; in October 2026 a full re-check of the new reviews corrected several calculation and wording errors.
Three sessions from October 2026 show the range of results the reviews report:
- Mermaid Riches: 100 spins at 12.00 returned 507.60 of the 1,200.00 staked, a clear loss, and the review says so.
- Thai River Wonders: one round of free spins paid 2,136.60, with the multiplier at x14 by its last cascade.
- Supermarket Spree: a single x15 star turned a 54.00 free spin into 810.00; the screenshot and the sum are on the page.
We only publish a review when the demo actually runs. In October 2026 two PG Soft games, Fortune Gods and Candy Burst, were left out because their demos returned "Transaction Failed" errors on the first spin.
What a demo session can and cannot tell you
A demo shows how a game works: the board, the features, how often small wins come and what a good spin looks like. It cannot predict results. One hundred spins is a small sample, the RTP is a long-run average over millions of spins, and a session that ended in profit on this site says nothing about the next one. Casinos may also run a different configuration of a game than the one in the free demo, so check the rules screen inside the game where you play for real.
How the site is paid for
Some pages show an offer from an online casino, and the demo window has a "Play for Real Money" button. The offer can differ by country. If a visitor signs up through one of these links, the site may receive a referral commission. Offers never change the demo, the session numbers or what a review says about a game, and every demo works without signing up anywhere.
Play responsibly
Real-money gambling is for adults (18+, or older where local law requires) and only where it is legal. Treat it as paid entertainment, set a limit before you start and do not chase losses. Free, confidential help is available:
- BeGambleAware, information and support in the UK;
- Gambling Therapy, free online support in many languages.
