Jack Frost's Winter opens on a board only three reels wide. Every time the reel on the right adds to a win, PG Soft attaches another reel after it, and each new reel raises the multiplier by one, so a spin keeps growing to the right for as long as the wins keep connecting. The game came out in December 2020 and pays for every symbol in a combination rather than for lines or ways. I played it at 6.00 a spin; the best result was a x4 spin on six reels that paid 134.40.
Same game, real money
Cafe Casino runs the same Jack Frost's Winter with the same math and adds a welcome bonus for players from the United States:
300% up to $2,000 + 150 FS 18+ · T&Cs apply · the demo stays freeThree reels to start
Each spin begins with three reels of four rows, and the frosted snowflake tiles are empty spaces. A combination needs at least five matching symbols on adjacent reels, counted from the leftmost one. The wild can land anywhere except the first reel. It replaces all symbols but Free Spins, and once it helps a win it fills its reel from top to bottom.
If the newest reel on the right improves a combination, another reel is added and spun. If it does not, the spin ends and everything is paid at the multiplier reached. A Free Spins symbol on the rightmost reel also earns an extra reel when nothing else does. My stake never moved from 6.00, the game's opening setting (0.30 x 2 on a fixed base of 10), so one point of the paytable was 0.60.

Spin 9: six reels and x4
My best spin started with an owl and two snowballs on reel one. A wild on reel two joined both combinations and stretched over the whole reel, a snowball on reel three kept one of them going, and the fourth reel arrived with the multiplier at x2.
Reels five and six followed, and the sixth added nothing, so the spin stopped there. The counters in the corner showed 12 snowballs and 5 owls, worth 3 and 4 points each: 56 points, or 33.60 at this stake. Multiplied by four, that became 134.40, and the game announced a Mega Win: 22.4 times the stake.
Every symbol is paid
There are no paylines to read. Each symbol in a winning combination pays its own value, so eleven aces are worth 22 points and the size of a win depends on how many symbols the combination collects. The right-hand column shows ten symbols of one kind at my stake, before any multiplier.
| Symbol | Points per symbol | Ten in a combination at 6.00 |
|---|---|---|
| Jack Frost | 5 | 30.00 |
| Snowy owl | 4 | 24.00 |
| Ice crystal, snowball | 3 | 18.00 |
| A, K, Q | 2 | 12.00 |
| J, 10, 9 | 1 | 6.00 |
At x1 these numbers stay small. A spin only grows when new reels keep coming, because each one lengthens the combinations and adds a step to the multiplier at the same time. Bali Vacation pays per symbol on the same Infinity Reels and adds a feature that clears the card symbols off the board.
Two wild reels, two combinations
Spin 40 showed how wilds serve more than one combination. Wilds on reels two and three both expanded, and reel one held an ace and two kings. Each wild reel counted for the kings and for the aces: 10 kings and 9 aces, 38 points or 22.80, doubled to 45.60 because a fourth reel had been added. The Jack Frost symbols on that fourth reel had no match on reel one and paid nothing.
Free spins with hearts and stars
Three Free Spins symbols anywhere on the board start 10 free spins, and each additional one adds two. The multiplier works as in the base game, starting at x1 and rising by one for every added reel, with two extra symbols: each heart on the reels gives one more free spin, and each star raises the multiplier by one. The rules mention a reset to x1 only at the start of the feature, not before every free spin. The round did not trigger in my session, so this part follows the rules screen.
A year later PG Soft built Mask Carnival around the same idea of one more multiplier step per new reel, with the board shifting to the right instead of growing.
Sixty spins, mostly cold
I recorded 60 spins at 6.00. On spin 25 the demo lost its connection and reloaded with a fresh 100,000.00 balance, so that spin is left out and the session is counted in two parts.
| Part | Spins | Staked | Paid back | Result |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Spins 1 to 24 | 24 | 144.00 | 204.00 | +60.00 |
| Spins 26 to 61 | 36 | 216.00 | 92.40 | -123.60 |
| Total | 60 | 360.00 | 296.40 | -63.60 |
Only 12 of the 60 spins paid anything. Spin 9 alone carried the first part, and after the reload the largest win was the 45.60 of spin 40; the other five wins in that stretch were between 3.00 and 19.20. In the other 48 no combination formed, so the multiplier had nothing to work with. A per-symbol slot that needs new reels to grow can go a long time without a meaningful win, and the free spins, where hearts and stars would add to the count, never arrived.
