Two reels of wilds side by side, late in a round of free spins, turned three ordinary symbols into 2,754.00 on a 36.00 stake. That spin is Wild Fireworks in miniature: wilds arrive as whole stacks, every win they join is doubled, and during free spins they wait on the reels until they are used. The setting is a summer festival night in 2020, with a pagoda, a pink moon and sky lanterns rising over the reels. My 100 demo spins produced 23 wins and one round of free spins worth 5,155.20.
Same game, real money
Cafe Casino runs the same Wild Fireworks with the same math and adds a welcome bonus for players from the United States:
300% up to $2,000 + 150 FS 18+ · T&Cs apply · the demo stays free243 ways and wilds on the right
The board is five reels by three rows with all 243 ways active. A symbol counts when it shows up on reel one and keeps going reel by reel; its copies per reel multiply into ways. Winners burst like fireworks and new symbols fall into the gaps for another round.
Wilds can only land on reels three, four and five, and the opening screen shows them as they always come, in stacks. Two lotus scatters sit on reels one and two of that first screen, a third short of the free spins.
A doubled win for every symbol
The wild replaces everything but the scatter, and it carries its own multiplier: when a symbol's win includes a wild, all of that symbol's ways are doubled.
Because the wilds sit on the right half of the board, a symbol still has to start on reels one and two. A stack on reel three then turns one or two starting symbols into three or six ways at once, at twice the price. My bet was size 0.90 at level 2 on a base bet of 20, so a paytable point paid 1.80.
Three rounds in the base game: 626.40
My best spin outside the feature began with a wild stack on reel three. The first round paid 194.40, the cascade that followed paid 216.00, and the next one another 216.00 before nothing new connected.
Together that is 626.40, 17.4 stakes, and the screen called it a Mega Win. There is no cascade multiplier in this game, unlike the climbing ladder of Mahjong Ways; each round is paid at its face value, with only the wild's x2 on top.
Ten free spins, and wilds that wait
The feature needs three lotus scatters anywhere on the board for 10 free spins, with two more for each extra lotus. Mine landed on reels one, two and three on the 61st spin.
Two rules change for the feature, and the intro screen spells them out: a stack that lands partly off the reel is nudged fully into view at the start of each free spin, and a wild that has not won yet stays on the board for the next spin.
The second rule is what makes the round build. A wild that misses on one spin is still there on the next, so two or three stacked reels can gather while the outer reels keep spinning underneath.
The 2,754.00 free spin, way by way
With two free spins left, reels three and four were both covered in wilds. Reel one showed a Q, green rockets and red dynamite sticks; reel two the same three symbols in a different order; reel five a K, green rockets and a Q.
Each symbol found one copy on reel one, one on reel two and three wilds on each of reels three and four, so nine ways apiece:
| Symbol | Reach | Ways | Pay | With x2 |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Green rockets | 5 reels | 1 x 1 x 3 x 3 x 1 = 9 | 50 | 900 |
| Q | 5 reels | 1 x 1 x 3 x 3 x 1 = 9 | 20 | 360 |
| Red dynamite | 4 reels | 1 x 1 x 3 x 3 = 9 | 15 | 270 |
| Total points | 1,530 | |||
1,530 points at 1.80 make 2,754.00, the figure on the banner, 76.5 stakes from one spin. The rockets and the Q only reached reel five because a single copy waited there; without the wild reels in between, none of the three symbols would have paid at all.
The rest of the round added Big and Mega Wins of 918.00, 1,042.20 and 324.00, with smaller ones between them, and the last spin closed the feature on a Total Won of 5,155.20, 143.2 times the stake.
Fortune pot down to J: the paytable
Every value is per way, for three, four or five of a kind; a spin costs 20 points, so dividing by 20 gives a way against the stake.
On a single way the numbers are small, five fortune pots return five stakes, so the x2 and the number of ways decide almost everything:
| Symbol | 3 / 4 / 5 of a kind | 5 of a kind vs stake |
|---|---|---|
| Fortune pot | 12 / 30 / 100 | 5x |
| Firecracker string | 10 / 25 / 80 | 4x |
| Firework cone | 10 / 20 / 80 | 4x |
| Green rockets, red dynamite | 8 / 15 / 50 | 2.5x |
| A, K | 5 / 12 / 30 | 1.5x |
| Q, J | 5 / 10 / 20 | 1x |

Verdict
Wild Fireworks is a modest base game wrapped around one very good feature. In 100 spins the game paid 23 times, mostly small amounts, with one three-round cascade of 626.40 as the high point. The free spins are a different game: wilds that refuse to leave, x2 on everything they touch, and a round that paid 143 stakes, more than half of it from one spin with two wild reels.
