Butterfly Blossom is PG Soft's garden slot from March 2022, set in a butterfly kingdom under purple wisteria. It is a 5x3 game with 20 lines and cascades, and its wild has a life cycle: a caterpillar that wins becomes a cocoon, a cocoon that wins becomes a butterfly, and a winning butterfly adds +5 to the top step of the multiplier ladder. In my demo session at 54.00 a spin, that is exactly what happened on the best spin: the ladder went x1, x2, x3 and then jumped to x10, for a Big Win of 372.60.

The board is five reels by three rows with 20 fixed lines, paid from the left. Winning symbols explode and new ones fall in for another round. The pictures are flowers: the red rose, a pink peony, an orchid, an orange gerbera, a blue bellflower, peach blossom and a four-leaf clover.
Wilds land on reels two, three and four only and replace everything except the Free Spin symbol. Below the reels are the four steps of the multiplier: x1, x2, x3 and x5.
The cascade ladder
Every spin starts at x1. A win in the first round lifts the second round to x2, a win in the second lifts the third to x3, and the fourth round and everything after it are played at x5. My stake was 0.90 x 3 x 20 = 54.00, so each paytable point was worth 0.90 x 3 = 2.70.

The fourth round alone paid 175.50 of the 272.70, five times the stake for 13 points of bellflowers. It is the same ladder as in Prosperity Fortune Tree, here on a much smaller board.
Caterpillar, cocoon, butterfly
The wild comes in three stages, and each stage survives one win:
- A Caterpillar Wild that takes part in a win does not explode. In the next round it becomes a Cocoon Wild.
- A Cocoon Wild that wins stays again and becomes a Butterfly Wild.
- A Butterfly Wild that wins adds +5 to the rightmost multiplier and disappears in the next round.
So a single caterpillar can take part in three wins, and the third one changes the ladder: the last step, normally x5, becomes x10.
One spin to x10: 372.60
My best spin had a Cocoon Wild at the bottom of reel two. After a first round of 10.80 at x1, the cocoon completed a line of three gerberas at x2: 5 points, 13.50, doubled to 27.00. Because it won, it did not explode.
In the third round the cocoon had hatched into a purple Butterfly Wild, and together with a caterpillar wild above it, it took part in a win at x3 worth 64.80. As the rules promise, the rightmost step under the reels changed from x5 to x10.
The fourth round was played at x10. Clovers filled the middle row from reel one to reel five, with a wild on reel two: five clovers pay 10 points, 27.00, and x10 made it 270.00.
The rounds paid 10.80, 27.00, 64.80 and 270.00, together 372.60, almost seven times the stake. Without the butterfly the last round would have paid half as much.
Free spins: x3, x6, x9, x15
Three Free Spin symbols anywhere award 8 free spins, and each extra one adds 2. During the feature, two Free Spin symbols award 3 more, and the round can be retriggered.
The ladder is tripled for the feature: x3, x6, x9 and x15. A Butterfly Wild still adds +5 to the last step, so x15 becomes x20. The feature did not trigger in my session, so this follows the game's rules rather than a round I played.
Paytable per line
Line wins are the paytable value times bet size and bet level, and a spin costs 20 times that product, so dividing by 20 gives one line against the stake.
Five roses on a line are worth ten times the stake; the clover and peach blossom pay a tenth of the stake for three:

Verdict
Butterfly Blossom takes the familiar x1 to x5 cascade ladder and adds a wild that grows up. A caterpillar that keeps winning keeps the cascade alive, and when it finally hatches, the top of the ladder doubles. My best spin was a small board of clovers turned into 270.00 by that x10.
