Prosperity Fortune Tree is PG Soft's sequel to its 2017 hit Tree of Fortune, released in August 2022. The tree is still the star, now taller and hung with red envelopes, but the game underneath is new: six reels of four symbols, 4,096 ways, cascades and a multiplier above the reels that climbs x1, x2, x3 and x5 as long as the wins keep coming. Three Bonus envelopes start a separate feature in which only prize symbols land. My demo session at 36.00 a spin won on 100 of 203 spins, and the best one paid 1,598.40, 44 times the stake.
Same game, real money
Cafe Casino runs the same Prosperity Fortune Tree with the same math and adds a welcome bonus for players from the United States:
300% up to $2,000 + 150 FS 18+ · T&Cs apply · the demo stays freeSix reels, 4,096 ways
Every reel always shows four symbols, so the count never changes: 4 to the sixth power is 4,096 ways, as the plaque above the reels says. A win needs the same symbol on adjacent reels from the leftmost one, and the number of ways is the product of matching symbols on each reel.
The gold coin wild lands only on reels two to five and replaces everything except the red Bonus envelope. The opening screen above shows both: two wilds in the middle and two Bonus envelopes, one short of the feature.
How a way pays
My stake was 0.90 x 2 x 20 = 36.00, so each paytable point was worth 0.90 x 2 = 1.80. In the round below, the red treasure pot, the top symbol, landed once on reel one and twice on reel two, and a wild completed it on reel three.
That is 1 x 2 x 1 = 2 ways of three pots at 20 points each, 40 points, 72.00, twice the stake from a single round. The winning symbols then explode, new ones drop in, and the next round is played with a higher multiplier.
The multiplier ladder: x1, x2, x3, x5
The four numbers above the reels are the multiplier for the current round. Every spin starts at x1; a win in the first round lifts the second to x2, a win in the second lifts the third to x3, and a win in the third sets the fourth round and every round after it to x5. Butterfly Blossom uses the same four steps on a 20-line board and lets its butterfly wild push the last one to x10.
This is the same ladder as in Mahjong Ways, and it does most of the work here too: a cascade that survives four rounds pays every later round five times over. Without a long cascade, wins stay small.
One spin, five rounds: 1,598.40
The best spin of my session shows the ladder at full strength. The first two rounds were modest, a three-of-a-kind of jade pendants at x1 and one way each of kings and queens at x2. The third round, already at x3, cleared gold ingots and coin pouches across the board.
From there every round paid x5. Two wilds landed in the fourth round, so treasure pots reached reel four on two ways and three card symbols on reel one each found a three-of-a-kind through them. The fifth round paid jade pendants across five reels:
| Round | Wins | Points | Base | Paid |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 1, x1 | Jade pendant 3 of a kind, 1 way x 8 | 8 | 14.40 | 14.40 |
| 2, x2 | K and Q 3 of a kind, 1 way x 5 each | 10 | 18.00 | 36.00 |
| 3, x3 | Gold ingot 4 of a kind, 2 ways x 20; coin pouch 5 of a kind, 1 way x 20 | 60 | 108.00 | 324.00 |
| 4, x5 | Treasure pot 4 of a kind, 2 ways x 30; Q, J, A 3 of a kind, 5 + 3 + 5 | 73 | 131.40 | 657.00 |
| 5, x5 | Jade pendant 5 of a kind, 4 ways x 15; J 3 of a kind, 3 | 63 | 113.40 | 567.00 |
| Total | 1,598.40 | |||
The jade pendants in the last round show how the ways multiply: one on reel one, two on reel two, a pendant and a wild on reel three, and one each on reels four and five give 1 x 2 x 2 x 1 x 1 = 4 ways of five.
The 141 points of the two x5 rounds were worth 1,224.00 on their own, three quarters of the spin. Each round adds to the WIN plaque below the reels, and every figure on it matched the arithmetic.
The Bonus Feature: envelopes and prizes
Three or more Bonus envelopes anywhere start the feature. It works like a hold-and-win round rather than free spins: the reels show only prize symbols, and the game counts down three bonus spins.
The rules describe four parts:
- The Bonus envelopes that triggered the feature turn into Prize Multiplier symbols worth 1x to 5x the bet.
- Any new Prize Multiplier, Angpau or Golden Angpau symbol resets the counter back to three spins; the feature ends when it reaches zero.
- A red Angpau adds 1x to every other visible symbol and to itself, for that bonus spin only. A Golden Angpau does the same for that spin and every spin after it.
- Three red Angpau on the reels merge into one Golden Angpau that keeps their combined value.
The Golden Angpau is what makes the feature grow: each one permanently raises everything on the board by the bet once more. It did not trigger in my 203 demo spins, so this section follows the game's rules rather than a round I played.
Paytable per way
Paytable values are multiplied by bet size and bet level, and a spin costs 20 times that product, so dividing by 20 gives one way against the stake.
Six treasure pots on one way pay 2.5 times the stake, while three card symbols on one way return between 0.15 and 0.25 of it:
| Symbol | 3 / 4 / 5 / 6 of a kind | 6 of a kind vs stake, per way |
|---|---|---|
| Treasure pot | 20 / 30 / 40 / 50 | 2.5x |
| Gold ingot | 15 / 20 / 30 / 40 | 2x |
| Coin pouch | 10 / 15 / 20 / 30 | 1.5x |
| Lantern, jade pendant, red knot | 8 / 10 / 15 / 20 | 1x |
| A, K, Q | 5 / 8 / 10 / 12 | 0.6x |
| J, 10, 9 | 3 / 5 / 8 / 10 | 0.5x |
Prosperity Fortune Tree by the numbers
PG Soft's game page lists a 96.77% RTP and a 20,000x maximum win and dates the game to August 2022; the in-game rules do not mention a cap. The studio does not publish a volatility rating, so I leave it out. Like the other PG Soft demo slots here, it runs in the browser without an account:

| Max win | 20,000x (PG Soft game page) |
| Bet in the demo | 0.60 to 180 per spin |
Bet: 0.60 to 180 in the demo
The demo opens at 12.00. The Bet Options panel multiplies a bet size, a bet level from 1 to 10 and the base bet of 20; my session ran at 0.90 x 2 x 20 = 36.00.
There are four bet sizes, 0.03, 0.10, 0.30 and 0.90, so a spin costs from 0.60 (0.03 x 1 x 20) to 180.00 (0.90 x 10 x 20). Real-money limits depend on the casino and the currency.

Verdict
Prosperity Fortune Tree is a steady cascade game with one clear lever: survive three rounds and everything after pays x5. Wins come often, about every second spin in my session, but most are small until a cascade runs long, and when it does, ordinary symbols at x5 add up quickly. The Angpau bonus is rarer and works on a different idea, prizes that grow with every Golden Angpau. Play the demo for the ladder and keep spinning for the envelopes.
