Dragon Tiger Luck is the smallest slot PG Soft makes. Announced in November 2019, it borrows the name of the Dragon Tiger card game but plays like a pair of old three-reel fruit machines stacked on top of each other: a tiger reel set above, a dragon reel set below, one line each. There are no free spins, no wilds and no cascades. There is one choice, whether to play one reel set or both, and one feature, a x2 when both win in the same spin. I played the demo below at 18.00 a spin, the maximum.
Same game, real money
Cafe Casino runs the same Dragon Tiger Luck with the same math and adds a welcome bonus for players from the United States:
300% up to $2,000 + 150 FS 18+ · T&Cs apply · the demo stays freeTwo reel sets, one line each
The machine has two sets of three reels. Each set shows its result on a single row through the middle, so the whole game has at most two lines. The neon tiger guards the top set and the neon dragon the bottom one, but the symbols on the reels are the same coins in both: gold and silver tigers, tiger paws, gold and silver dragons and dragon claws.
The buttons on the left switch each reel set on or off, and at least one has to stay on. Playing both doubles the stake, because each set is one line, and only with both on can the x2 feature trigger.
The paytable fits on one sign
The whole paytable is printed above the reels. Three matching symbols on a line from the left pay, and the values are multiplied by bet size and bet level:
Each family, tiger and dragon, pays the same four amounts. A line costs one unit of bet size times level, so the paytable value is also the win against the stake of that line:
| Three on the line | Pays | Vs one-line stake | Vs two-line stake |
|---|---|---|---|
| Three gold tigers or three gold dragons | 100 | 100x | 50x |
| Three silver tigers or three silver dragons | 50 | 50x | 25x |
| Three paws or three claws | 25 | 25x | 12.5x |
| Any mix of one family | 5 | 5x | 2.5x |
The "any" row is what keeps the game ticking: a gold tiger, a silver tiger and a paw together still pay 5, and so does any mix of the three dragon symbols.
My 45.00: an "any tiger" line
My stake was 0.90 x 10 x 2 = 18.00, both reel sets at the highest size and level, so each paytable point was worth 9.00. The spin below stopped with a silver tiger and two paws on the top line.
That is a mix of tiger symbols, the "any" combination worth 5, and 5 x 9.00 = 45.00. The bottom set did not win, so the x2 stayed off. The game still celebrated it with a Big Win banner, because 45.00 is 2.5 times the 18.00 stake:
Had the dragon line also landed any mix in the same spin, both wins would have been doubled: (45.00 + 45.00) x 2 = 180.00, ten times the stake.
The x2 Multiplier Feature
With both reel sets active, any spin in which the top line and the bottom line both win has both wins multiplied by x2. The rules illustration shows exactly that: a mixed tiger line above and a line of gold dragons below.
This rule also explains the maximum win. Three gold tigers and three gold dragons pay 100 each; together with the x2 that is 400 points on a two-point stake, or 200x, which is the 200x cap PG Soft lists for the game. Played on one reel set, the best possible result is 100x. In other words, the second set is not just a second chance: the top prize only exists when both are on.
For comparison, Fortune Dragon also adds a multiplier to a tiny board, but on a separate reel that can show up to x10, and its cap is 2,500x.
Dragon Tiger Luck by the numbers
PG Soft's game page lists a 96.94% RTP and a 200x maximum win, the lowest cap of any game on this site. The studio announced the game on 20 November 2019 and does not publish a volatility rating, so I leave it out. Among the PG Soft games with free demos here, it is the only one without any bonus round:
| Feature | Specification |

| Provider | PG Soft |
| Released | November 2019 |
| Reels | Two sets of 3 reels, one row each |
| Lines | 1 or 2, one per active reel set |

| Bet in the demo | 0.03 to 18 per spin |
Bet: 0.03 to 18 in the demo
The Bet Options panel multiplies a bet size, a bet level from 1 to 10 and the number of active lines, one or two. The demo opens at 1.20.
Bet sizes run from 0.03 to 0.90, so a single reel set costs from 0.03 (0.03 x 1 x 1) to 9.00 (0.90 x 10 x 1), and both sets from 0.06 to 18.00. Real-money limits depend on the casino and the currency.

Verdict
Dragon Tiger Luck is a palate cleanser in PG Soft's catalogue: two lines, a paytable that fits on a sign and one simple rule that doubles everything when both win. The 200x ceiling is low and the game never pretends otherwise. If you want to understand a slot completely in five minutes, or just spin something calm between feature-heavy games, the demo is a pleasant way to do it; if you are chasing big multipliers, look elsewhere in the catalogue.
