On spin 34 of my Forbidden Alchemy session a 230.40 line win was paid as 1,152.00, with no bonus round involved. PG Soft's January 2026 release does it with four glass jars above the reels: two of them lit up, every skull and mandrake on the board became a wild, and the five of them counted as x5. That spin alone was worth 96 stakes, and it carried my 100-spin demo session at 12.00 to a 753.60 profit.

Twenty fixed lines run over three rows and five reels, and they pay from the left. Each of the four jars holds one of the high symbols: skull, claw, mandrake and coral. The alchemist himself is the scatter, and the wild replaces everything but him. Three aces on a line, the most frequent win of my session, pay 2.40.
| Symbol | 3 | 4 | 5 | Five at 12.00 |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Skull | 80 | 160 | 400 | 240.00 |
| Claw | 40 | 80 | 200 | 120.00 |
| Mandrake, coral | 20 | 40 | 160 | 96.00 |
| A, K, Q, J | 4 | 20 | 80 | 48.00 |
Wild Transformation
At random, on any spin, one or more jars light up. Every copy of the chosen symbols on the reels turns into a wild, and each transformed symbol puts +1 on its jar. The lines are then paid at the sum of the jar values. In the base game the jars start empty every spin.
Spin 34 picked the skull and the mandrake. One skull and four mandrakes changed, so the jars read x1 and x4.
With a wild on each of the five reels, the card symbols around them connected on many lines for 230.40, and x1 plus x4 multiplied that by five: 1,152.00.
The coral jar did the same on a smaller scale twice. On spin 52 two corals became wilds, the jar showed x2 and 76.80 was paid as 153.60; on spin 65 three corals made x3 and 24.00 became 72.00.
Jars that remember
Three alchemists start 12 free spins, four start 15 and five start 20. Two alchemists during the round add three more. The difference from the base game: whatever a jar collects stays on it until the round is over.
My three alchemists landed on spin 26, a spin that also paid 12.00 in lines. With seven free spins left, two more alchemists pushed the counter to 10, so the round ran to 15. Small line wins came and went while the jars filled. On the last free spin the skull jar stood at x2 and the mandrake jar at x5, and a 16.80 win was paid at x7: 117.60.
The other two jars were dark on that spin, claw at x1 and coral at x2, and they were not counted. The rules speak of the sum of all the multipliers on top of the reels; in my round only the jars lit on that spin went into the total.
The 15 free spins came to 194.40, and with the 12.00 from the trigger, spin 26 paid 206.40.
Session in numbers
| Result | Value |
|---|---|
| Staked | 1,200.00 (100 spins at 12.00) |
| Returned | 1,953.60 |
| Winning spins | 40 |
| Spin 34, jars x1 + x4 | 1,152.00 |

| Spins 52 and 65, coral jar | 225.60 |
| Spins 16 and 18 | 110.40 |
| Other 34 wins | 259.20 |
| Final balance | 100,753.60 |
Ten of the forty wins merely returned the 12.00 stake and twenty paid less. After spin 52 the balance peaked at 101,142.40; over the last 48 spins, where 72.00 on spin 65 was the only win above 24.00, it gave back 388.80.

Another potion-brewing slot with multipliers that build up is Mystic Potion, where big symbols on a 6x6 cluster grid feed a book under the reels.
