On spin 75 of my Mystic Potion session the cascade itself paid only 54.00. A big red gem marked x15 had joined one of the wins, along with four smaller big symbols worth x2 each, and the book under the reels kept count: x2, x4, x19, x21, x23. When the cascade stopped, the 54.00 was multiplied by 23: 1,242.00 from a 12.00 bet. PG Soft released this alchemist's slot in April 2024, and its multipliers come from symbols that merge into one large block. Like most of the demos listed on the home page, it got 100 spins at a single bet.
Same game, real money
Cafe Casino runs the same Mystic Potion with the same math and adds a welcome bonus for players from the United States:
300% up to $2,000 + 150 FS 18+ · T&Cs apply · the demo stays freeThree spins that made the session
| Spin | Cascade wins | Collected multiplier | Paid |
|---|---|---|---|
| 75 | 54.00 | x23 | 1,242.00 |
| 25 | 27.00 | x12 | 324.00 |
| 32 | 102.00 | x2 | 204.00 |
Those three spins paid 1,770.00; the other 97 together paid 378.00, less than a third of the 1,200.00 staked.
Clusters on a 6x6 grid
There are no lines or ways. Five or more matching symbols that touch horizontally or vertically form a winning cluster, wherever they are on the six-by-six grid. Winners explode and fresh symbols tumble in. A golden cauldron is the wild and fits into any cluster; the open spell book is the scatter.
The opening screen of the demo already shows the idea: three big potions take up two-by-two blocks and carry x15, x30 and x2.
Potions and gems
Values are for the whole cluster, by size. At my bet (size 0.30, level 2, base 20) a point was 0.60.
| Symbol | 5 | 8-9 | 13-14 | 20+ |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Orange potion | 100 | 200 | 300 | 1,000 |
| Purple potion | 60 | 120 | 200 | 500 |
| Blue potion | 40 | 80 | 120 | 250 |
| Green potion | 20 | 50 | 100 | 200 |
| Spade, heart, club, diamond gems | 10 | 25 | 35 | 100 |
Five gems pay 6.00, and that was the single most common win of my session. Five orange potions pay 60.00, five stakes, but they turned up far less often.
Big symbols, step by step
The rules for these blocks come in three steps:
- Four identical symbols that form a two-by-two square merge into one big symbol with a multiplier from x2 to x500. Wilds and scatters cannot do this.
- If the big symbol becomes part of a winning cluster, its multiplier is collected into the book below the grid once the next symbols have dropped.
- Once the cascade has run out, every collected multiplier is added together and applied to the whole win.
On spin 75 the big ruby with x15 sat in the middle of a red cluster. When the cluster paid, the book jumped from x4 to x19. Two more x2 blocks later it showed x23.
A big symbol that never joins a win collects nothing, however high its number is, so the x15 mattered only because the rubies around it formed a cluster.
Spin 25 followed the same pattern on a smaller scale. Blocks worth x3, x2, x2 and x5 were collected one after another, and a cascade worth 27.00 was paid at x12.
Free spins where the book keeps its count
Three scatter books open 15 free spins, and each further book adds two; retriggers are possible. During the feature the collected multiplier is no longer cleared after each spin. It stays at the bottom of the grid until the round ends and applies to every winning free spin. My session did not produce three books at once, so this is taken from the rules.
Session totals
The demo balance ended at 100,948.00 after 100 spins: 2,148.00 back on 1,200.00. Twenty-eight spins paid. Apart from the three in the table, nothing went above 48.00 (spin 28), and twelve of the winning spins paid the minimum of 6.00.
