Geisha's Revenge Demo

On my seventh spin of Geisha's Revenge the cascades paid 43.80, and three wooden windows beside the first reel showed x2, x6 and x6. The game added them up and paid the spin at x14: 613.20 on a 12.00 bet. That pattern, small cascade wins multiplied by everything the windows have collected, decided the whole demo session. PG Soft released this samurai-era slot in December 2024, and my 100 spins ended 1,262.40 up.

Twenty-nine winning spins

Against 1,200.00 in stakes 2,462.40 came back, and the balance closed at 101,262.40. Most of it, 2,069.40, came from six spins: the free spins of spin 33, spins 7 and 6, and three multiplied cascades in the base game that each paid over 110.00. The other 23 wins added 393.00. After spin 33 the balance never returned to its peak; spins 47 and 67 only slowed the slide, and the last eleven spins paid nothing at all.

A tall board of ways

The first reel has five separate rows; the other four reels are six symbols tall, and some symbols arrive as blocks two to four cells high that count once, so the counter above the reels moves between 240 and 6,480 ways from spin to spin. Wins pay from the left, winning symbols explode, and new ones drop in. A red oni mask, found only on reels two to five, is the wild; the treasure chest is the scatter.

The payouts are low: at 12.00 a point is worth 0.60, so five geishas on one way only return the 12.00 bet. Without the windows a cascade rarely returns much. Museum Wonders builds its multiplier inside a spin too, from x2 tiles that win.

How the windows work

A window has to be opened before it can grow:

  1. Each of the five rows of reel 1 has a window to its left, closed at the start of every base spin.
  2. When a symbol in that row of reel 1 is part of a win, its window opens at x2.
  3. Each later win through the same row adds x2 more.
  4. When the cascade ends, all open windows are added together and the total multiplies the spin's win.

On spin 7 the bottom three rows of reel 1 did all the work. The middle window opened at x2, the two below it climbed to x6, and the splash in the centre counted up from x8 to x14 as the cascade finished.

Three windows add up to x14

At x14 the 43.80 became 613.20, a Super Mega Win worth just over 51 stakes. The chests of Mystical Spirits work the other way round: they multiply each other instead of being added.

The spin right before it went the same way on a smaller scale: 33.00 in cascades at x12, 396.00.

Ten free spins with windows that stay

A trio of chests opens the round with 10 free spins; a fourth chest is worth two extra spins, and so is a fifth. The windows close at the start of the round, but whatever they collect then stays until the last free spin, so every winning spin later in the round starts from the total built up earlier. My chests came on spin 33.

Three treasure chest scatters land

By the fourth free spin four windows were open at x4, x4, x2 and x2. A cascade led by red umbrellas, worth 20.40, was paid at x12: 244.80.

With 39.00 from the final spin and 88.80 from the rest, the round reached 629.40, more than 52 stakes, from base wins that were mostly a few coins each.

Geisha's Revenge FAQ

What do the windows next to reel 1 do in Geisha's Revenge?
Each one belongs to a row of the first reel. A win through that row opens it at x2 and every further win adds x2. At the end of the spin all open windows are summed and multiply the win.
Do the windows reset during free spins?
No. They start closed when the round begins and keep everything they collect until it ends; in the base game they close again before every spin.
Why is the ways counter different on every spin?
Some symbols land as blocks two to four cells high and count as one symbol, so the reels hold fewer separate symbols. The count runs from 240 to 6,480.
What was the best spin of the test?
Spin 33's free spins, 629.40, closely followed by spin 7 in the base game, 43.80 at x14 for 613.20.

Multiplier boxes that sit beside the reels and grow with winning symbols also decide Yakuza Honor, where five boxes under a 5x5 grid multiply the clusters above them.
