A purple kraken eye sits in the middle of every Kraken Gold Rush spin and never leaves. It is a wild two cells wide, fixed on reels three and four, and every cluster that touches it can use it. The other rule that matters: a base spin that wins three rounds in a row is paid x5 at the end. PG Soft released the pirate slot in October 2025. In a hundred demo spins at 12.00 the x5 came three times, and those spins paid 633.00, 360.00 and 348.00.

The grid has six columns and five rows. Four or more matching symbols that touch side to side or one above the other form a cluster, and winners burst so new symbols can fall. The scatter, a chest of gold under a bell, also takes two cells.
Because the kraken occupies the centre of row three, almost any cluster near the middle of the board can reach it. I played at the demo's 12.00, where a point is worth 0.60.

The gem tokens fill most of the board and pay almost nothing in small groups: four of them are worth 0.60, a twentieth of the bet. The kraken makes them useful by joining groups from two sides at once.
x5 for three rounds in a row
In the base game the multiplier is all or nothing. A spin that reaches a third winning round lights an x5 on the kraken, and when the cascade finally stops, the total of every round is multiplied by five.
Spin 51 started with small clusters of gems running through the kraken, worth 2.40 after the first rounds. By the time the x5 lit up, two scatters had dropped onto the board as well, one short of the bonus, and the running win stood at 102.00.
The cascade went on for several more rounds of pirates and cannons and stopped at 126.60.
Times five, that became 633.00, a Super Mega Win and almost 53 stakes. Spin 37 was smaller, 72.00 in clusters paid as 360.00, and spin 86 turned 69.60 into 348.00.
A wheel of multipliers in the bonus
Three treasure-chest scatters open 10 free spins; a fourth or fifth chest adds two spins each. The fixed x5 is replaced by a wheel that starts at x5 and moves up one step for every three winning rounds: x10, x15 and so on in steps of five up to x50, then x60, x70, x80, x90 and x100. The wheel is never reset during the round, so long cascades in the early free spins raise the multiplier for all the later ones. The round can be retriggered. I came within one scatter of it on spin 51; everything here is from the help screens.

I finished on 100,453.60, so 1,653.60 came back for the 1,200.00 I staked. Only 22 spins paid. The three x5 spins made 1,341.00; the other 19 wins added 312.60, and ten of those paid under 5.00. From spin 38 to spin 45 and from 67 to 77 nothing paid.
