A column of paper lanterns hangs on the right of Oishi Delights, marked x2, x4, x8 and on up to x1,024. Wind chimes decide how far up it lights. In my demo session at 12.00 the free spins came early, on spin 12, ran for 22 spins after a retrigger and paid 667.20, with every winning free spin paid at the x8 the round starts on. The game dates from September 2024. The other 99 spins returned less than they cost, and the session ended 57.00 down.

Five reels eight symbols tall give up to 32,768 ways, paid from the left with cascades. Many symbols arrive as tall tiles that fill three cells and count as one, so the counter above the reels usually shows a few thousand ways and can drop to 64. A pair of frothing beer mugs is the wild on reels two to four, and the scatter is a gold good-luck charm.
| Symbol | 3 / 4 / 5 per way |
|---|---|
| Waitress | 20 / 30 / 40 |
| Oysters | 10 / 15 / 20 |
| Tuna sashimi, takoyaki | 8 / 10 / 15 |
| Gyoza, A | 5 / 8 / 10 |
| K, Q | 2 / 3 / 5 |
| J, 10 | 1 / 2 / 3 |
The values are low for a ways game: at 12.00 a point is 0.60, so five waitresses on a single way pay 24.00, two stakes.
The other 99 spins
After the bonus the balance stood at 100,540.00, and it then fell almost without a break. The other 26 winning spins paid 467.40 in all; the best were 135.60 on spin 55, described below, 57.60 on the very next spin and 51.00 on spin 34. Sixteen of those wins were under 10.00. Two dry patches, of six and five spins, came in the second half, and the session ended on five losing spins in a row. With 1,143.00 returned on 1,200.00, the balance ended on 99,943.00.

Wind chimes and the lantern ladder
Some of the tall tiles on reels two to four carry a small wind chime. The first chime tile that is part of a win lights the x2 lantern for the next round of the cascade, and every further chime in a win doubles it: x4, x8, x16 and so on to x1,024. In the base game the ladder goes dark again before every spin.
Spin 55 is the best base-game example. A round of oysters with a wild paid 72.00 at x1. A chime tile then won, the x2 lantern lit, and a later round worth 25.20 was paid as 50.40. The spin finished at 135.60.
Every bonus spin starts at x8
Three gold charms open the bonus with 10 free spins, and any charm beyond the third is worth two extra. In the round the ladder starts every free spin at x8, and every winning chime doubles it from there. Mine arrived on spin 12 after two small base rounds worth 8.40.
With eight free spins left, a round worth 18.00 was paid at x8, 144.00.
With three left, oysters and a wild made 34.80, paid as 278.40, and four scatters landed in the same spin. The game added 12 more free spins, so the round ran to 22.
| Winning free spin | Before x8 | Paid |
|---|---|---|
| First big round | 18.00 | 144.00 |
| Oysters, retrigger | 34.80 | 278.40 |
| In the extra spins | 13.20 | 105.60 |
| In the extra spins | 12.00 | 96.00 |
| Small round | 3.00 | 24.00 |
| Small round | 2.40 | 19.20 |
No chime tile won during the 22 spins, so the ladder never climbed above x8. The round paid 667.20, 55.6 stakes, and with the base rounds spin 12 came to 675.60.

How many ways can the board have?
A ways count that shifts during the spin also drives Jack the Giant Hunter, though there seeds make the reels themselves taller and golden eggs raise the multiplier.
