In Prosperity Lanterns the paper lanterns are the prize symbols, and in both bonus rounds they float to the top of their reels. Fill a whole row with them and every lantern in that row is multiplied. PG Soft released the game on 1 September 2026 with a temple roof over a 5x3 board and 20 lines underneath. I spun the demo a hundred times at 12.00 and saw each of its two features once: a random Mini Bonus for 333.60 and the full Bonus Feature for 426.00.
Same game, real money
Cafe Casino runs the same Prosperity Lanterns with the same math and adds a welcome bonus for players from the United States:
300% up to $2,000 + 150 FS 18+ · T&Cs apply · the demo stays freeA hundred spins, two features
I ended 69.00 short of the starting 100,000.00, having staked 1,200.00 and collected 1,131.00. Only 29 spins paid. The two features brought 759.60, more than two thirds of the total; the best line wins were 80.40, 75.60 and 54.00, and the rest were small. Spins 1 to 11 and 59 to 66 paid nothing at all.

Oriental Prosperity, another Chinese-themed PG Soft slot, works differently: its scatters raise a multiplier.

Lines first, lanterns second
The base game is a plain 20-line slot on five reels and three rows. A lion-dance head is the wild and replaces every symbol except the lanterns, which show a cash value instead of a line payout. Lanterns pay nothing in an ordinary spin; six or more start the Bonus Feature, and in both bonuses they are the prizes.
At 12.00 (size 0.30 at level 2 across 20 lines) each point in the table below is worth 0.60 on a line.
| Symbol | 3 / 4 / 5 on a line |
|---|---|
| Pot of gold | 50 / 200 / 2,000 |
| Porcelain gourd | 30 / 150 / 1,000 |
| Red pouch | 20 / 100 / 500 |
| Gold lock | 15 / 75 / 300 |
| Jade coin | 10 / 50 / 200 |
| Lucky knot | 8 / 30 / 150 |
| Spade, heart, club, diamond | 5 / 25 / 100 |
Five pots of gold on one line would be 1,200.00 at my bet, a hundred stakes. In my session the line wins were mostly three suit symbols for 3.00.
The Mini Bonus
It can start at random at the beginning of any spin. The reels clear, and only lanterns worth 0.2x to 50x the bet can land. You get three spins; every new lantern resets the counter to three. Each lantern rises to the highest free position on its reel, so the rows fill from the top, and a complete row is multiplied by x2, x3 or x5 from top to bottom.
Mine came on spin 27. The top row filled with 2.40, 6.00, 2.40, 24.00 and 2.40, 37.20 in all, and the x2 made it 74.40. A gold lantern worth 240.00, twenty times the bet, landed lower down on the second reel.
The other two rows never filled, so their lanterns were paid at face value when the spins ran out. The round was worth 333.60, and the single gold lantern made up most of it.
The Bonus Feature and its growing rows
Six or more lanterns in one base spin start the bigger feature. Spin 88 landed six: one worth 120.00, three worth 6.00 and two worth 2.40.
The bonus adds a fourth row marked x10. Each completed row is paid at its multiplier and removed, the remaining rows shift up, and a new row with the next multiplier is added at the bottom: x2, x3, x5, x10, x20, x30, x50, x100, x200, x300, x500 and finally x1,000.
The top row filled with the 120.00 lantern in it and paid 388.80 at x2. An x20 row appeared at the bottom, but the remaining rows stayed incomplete, and the round ended at 426.00.
The structure is close to a hold-and-win round, but rows rather than single lanterns carry the multipliers, so filling the lower rows is what decides the result.
