On spin 18 of my session three werewolf scatters landed, one short of the bonus, and four small x2 tiles sat on the reels around them. The cascade paid 49.20, the game added the four tiles together into x8, and the spin was worth 393.60, almost 33 times my stake. Werewolf's Hunt, released by PG Soft in December 2023, keeps its multipliers out of the cascade and settles them only once the reels have stopped.

PG Soft supplies the RTP and the 10,000x ceiling; a spin or a bonus that hits the ceiling is closed on the spot. I played at 12.00, bet size 0.30 on level 2, so one paytable point was 0.60.
10,000 ways in a moonlit town
The outer reels hold four symbols and the four in the middle hold five, which gives 4 × 5 × 5 × 5 × 5 × 4 = 10,000 ways on every spin. Wins pay from the left, winning symbols burst, and new ones fall in until nothing more connects. Cruise Royale reaches the same 10,000 with a strip of extra symbols above the board. A snarling wolf's head is the wild; it never shows up on the outer reels and cannot replace the scatter.
This is the board the demo opens with, already showing two scatters and a x20 next to a x2. In normal play the multipliers are less generous: in 100 spins I saw values of x2, x5 and x8, never anything near x20.
Multipliers that wait for the end of the spin
During the base game, symbols marked x2 to x20 can land on the reels. They do nothing while the cascades run. Once the spin is over, the game adds up every multiplier still on the board and applies the total to the whole win.
Spin 18 had four tiles, every one of them a x2: a pair on reel one, a single on reel two and another on reel three. Added together they make x8, and 49.20 × 8 = 393.60. Had they multiplied each other the result would have been x16. Mafia Mayhem, released the same month, also adds its multipliers rather than multiplying them, but there they come from wilds that stick to the board.
A single tile is enough to change a spin. On spin 95 the cascade paid 32.40, and a lone x5 on reel two turned it into 162.00.
Spin 31 paid 67.20 with one x2 for 134.40. A single x8 appeared twice: on spin 90 it lifted 11.40 to 91.20, and on spin 100, the last of the session, 14.40 to 115.20.
The bonus: prizes, moons and three lives
Four or more scatters open a round that has nothing to do with ways. The scatters turn into prize symbols worth 1x to 3x the bet, and from then on the reels show only prizes and three kinds of moon. The round starts with three spins, and every new prize or moon resets the count to three, a structure close to the hold-and-win features of other studios.
A moon usually arrives as a crescent and needs up to five spins to become full. Each colour does something different once it is full:
- Blue moon: adds 1x to every prize on the reels.
- Red moon: absorbs the values of all prizes into itself.
- Yellow moon: doubles three prizes picked at random.
After it fires, a moon goes dark and takes another five spins to fill again. My closest approach was the three scatters of spin 18, so the round is described here from the paytable.
Hunters, boots and goggles
Payouts are per way, for three to six symbols in a row from reel one.
| Symbol | 3 / 4 / 5 / 6 |
|---|---|
| Hunter | 10 / 15 / 20 / 50 |
| Frightened girl | 7 / 10 / 15 / 30 |
| Grey wolf | 5 / 8 / 10 / 20 |
| Boot | 4 / 6 / 7 / 12 |
| Goggles | 3 / 4 / 5 / 8 |
| A, K | 2 / 3 / 4 / 5 |
| Q, J | 1 / 2 / 3 / 4 |
Six hunters on one way pay 50 points, two and a half times the 20-point stake, and the low cards are worth very little. Wins of more than a few stakes in the base game came only from the multiplier tiles. The home page has the other PG Soft demos tested on this site.
A hundred spins, five that mattered
I finished 100 spins at 12.00 with a balance of 100,155.40, slightly up: the game paid back 1,355.40 on 1,200.00. Thirty-eight spins won something, but the five spins with multiplier tiles described above, 18, 95, 31, 100 and 90, brought in 896.40 between them. The remaining 33 wins came to 459.00, well under half of what I staked.
