Caishen Wins puts two gods of wealth on a temple roof and gives the player a decision most slots never offer: when the free spins trigger, you can take 8 spins at x8, or gamble on two wheels for more spins and a bigger multiplier, up to 20 spins at x20, and lose the whole round if a wheel stops on the wrong colour. PG Soft released it in April 2020 on a six-reel board with up to 32,400 ways, framed symbols that turn into wilds and a four-wide wild block that can land on the top row. I played the demo below at 54.00 a spin.
Same game, real money
Cafe Casino runs the same Caishen Wins with the same math and adds a welcome bonus for players from the United States:
300% up to $2,000 + 150 FS 18+ · T&Cs apply · the demo stays freeThe free spins gamble: 8 at x8, or up to 20 at x20
Four or more scatters, the red 8 tiles, trigger the feature. You start with 8 free spins plus 2 for every scatter beyond four, and every win in the round is multiplied by x8. Before the first spin you can tap Collect and play that, or gamble.
There are two wheels. The top one gambles for spins: if the pointer stops on green, you get 2 more free spins. The bottom one gambles for the multiplier: green adds 2 to it. If either wheel stops off the green area, the free spins feature ends and you get nothing from it. You can gamble as many times as you like until the caps, 20 free spins and x20.
A quick way to compare the outcomes is to multiply spins by multiplier:
| Choice | Free spins | Multiplier | Spins x multiplier |
|---|---|---|---|
| Collect at once (4 scatters) | 8 | x8 | 64 |
| One win on the spins wheel | 10 | x8 | 80 |
| One win on the multiplier wheel | 8 | x10 | 80 |
| Both wheels to the cap | 20 | x20 | 400 |
| Any losing gamble | 0 | - | 0 |
The rules do not publish how large the green area is, so there is no honest way to say whether a gamble is worth it. What the table does show is the shape of the bet: each successful step adds about a quarter to the round's value at first, and each step risks all of it. Four scatters during the free spins add 8 more spins, with 2 extra for every scatter beyond four.
A board shared with Ganesha Fortune
The reels are the same as in Ganesha Fortune, which PG Soft released a month later: six reels of five rows, an extra row on top of reels two to five, and symbols that can be two to four spaces tall but count as one. The plaque shows the product of the symbols on each reel.
The opening screen reads 10800 WAYS: 5, 3, 6, 6, 4 and 5 symbols on the six reels, top row included, and 5 x 3 x 6 x 6 x 4 x 5 = 10,800. The range is 2,025 to 32,400. The gold ingot wild lands only on reels two to five and replaces every symbol except the scatter; there are five of them on this board, three of them on reel three.
Wilds-on-the-Way: a gold frame becomes two to four wilds
Tall symbols on reels two to five can carry a silver frame. A silver-framed symbol that is part of a win turns into a random gold-framed symbol after the cascade. A gold-framed symbol that wins again breaks into two to four separate wilds, one for every space it covered.
That last step is the difference from Ganesha Fortune, where a gold frame becomes one tall wild. Here a four-space tile becomes four wilds stacked on one reel, the same rule Leprechaun Riches introduced a year earlier.
Success Caishen: four wilds on the top row
On any spin, a block showing the god of wealth, four symbols wide, can land on the extra top row. If the whole block lands, it turns into four wilds, one at the top of each of reels two to five.
With a wild on each of reels two to five, every symbol on reel one except the scatter automatically makes five of a kind, and a match on reel six turns it into six. That is exactly what happened in my best spin.
My best spin: 399.60 with four wilds on top
My stake was 0.90 x 3 x 20 = 54.00, so each paytable point was worth 0.90 x 3 = 2.70. The screen below is the last paying round of the spin, with the Success Caishen wilds sitting on the top row and the counter at 6400 WAYS (5 x 4 x 4 x 4 x 4 x 5).
Three symbols win on this board, all of them through the top wilds:
| Symbol | Ways, reel by reel | Ways | Pay per way | Points |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| K, five of a kind | 1 x 2 x 1 x 2 x 2 | 8 | 8 | 64 |
| J, five of a kind | 3 x 1 x 2 x 2 x 1 | 12 | 3 | 36 |
| 10, six of a kind | 1 x 2 x 1 x 2 x 1 x 2 | 8 | 4 | 32 |
| This round | 132 | |||
132 points are 356.40. The plaque shows 399.60 because it adds up the whole spin; the other 43.20, or 16 points, came from an earlier round that my screenshot does not show. The game counted it as a Big Win, 7.4 times the stake.
Note the tall 10 on reel two: it has a silver frame and was part of the win, so the next round would have turned it gold. Base game wins in Caishen Wins are a mix of these features stacking up, not one big symbol.
Paytable per way
Paytable values are multiplied by bet size and bet level, and a spin costs 20 times that product. Dividing by 20 gives one way against the stake.
The lion dance mask tops the table at 4x the stake for six on a single way:
| Symbol | 3 / 4 / 5 / 6 of a kind | 6 of a kind vs stake, per way |
|---|---|---|
| Lion dance mask | 30 / 40 / 50 / 80 | 4x |
| Money toad | 20 / 25 / 30 / 50 | 2.5x |
| Koi fish | 10 / 25 / 30 / 40 | 2x |
| Red envelope | 8 / 15 / 20 / 30 | 1.5x |
| Gong, firecrackers | 6 / 10 / 12 / 15 | 0.75x |
| A, K | 4 / 6 / 8 / 10 | 0.5x |
| Q, J, 10 | 1 / 2 / 3 / 4 | 0.2x |
Caishen Wins by the numbers
PG Soft's game page lists a 96.92% RTP and a 100,000x maximum win and dates the game to April 2020. There is no public information sheet for it, so I leave out volatility and a simulated maximum. It is one of three 2020 games on this board in the PG Soft demo catalogue here:
| Feature | Specification |
|---|---|
| Provider | PG Soft |
| Released | April 2020 |
| Reels | 6 reels, 5 rows, extra top row over reels 2-5 |
| Ways | 2,025 to 32,400 (base bet 20) |
| Wilds-on-the-Way | Silver, then gold, then 2 to 4 wilds |
| Success Caishen | Four-wide block on the top row turns into 4 wilds |
| Free spins | 8 at x8 for 4 scatters (+2 per extra); gamble up to 20 spins and x20 |
| RTP | 96.92% |
| Max win | 100,000x |
| Bet in the demo | 0.60 to 180 per spin |
Bet: 0.60 to 180 in the demo
The demo opens at 12.00. The Bet Options panel multiplies a bet size, a bet level from 1 to 10 and the base bet of 20; my session ran at 0.90 x 3 x 20 = 54.00.
Bet sizes run from 0.03 to 0.90, so a spin costs from 0.60 (0.03 x 1 x 20) to 180.00 (0.90 x 10 x 20). Real-money limits depend on the casino and the currency.

Verdict
Caishen Wins is the six-reel ways engine with one bold twist: the free spins are a decision, not a gift. Collecting 8 spins at x8 is the safe play; chasing 20 spins at x20 multiplies the round's potential more than six times and can also end it on the first wheel. In the base game the Success Caishen block and the framed tiles do the work, as the four top wilds did in my 399.60 spin. Try the demo and trigger the feature a few times both ways before you decide how you feel about the wheel.
