The free spins of Garuda Gems arrived on the very last of my 100 demo spins, just in time: the multiplier climbed from x1 to x12, and the feature together with the spin that triggered it paid 1,042.20 on a 12.00 stake. PG Soft released the game in February 2022. It draws on the Garuda, the golden bird of Asian legend, and puts it on a batik-patterned board of six reels with gems, card ranks and a wild that is counted every time it lands.

I kept the default 12.00 for the whole session and never touched the bet.
| Session at 12.00 | Result |
|---|---|
| Winning spins | 42 of 100 |
| Spins that reached x3 in the base game | 8 |
| Best base-game spin | 131.40 (x3) |
| Free spins | Once, spin 100: 869.40, top multiplier x12 |
| Balance | 100,000.00 to 100,799.80 |
Without the final feature the session would have finished 242.40 down; the balance read 99,757.60 as spin 100 began.
4,096 ways and a circle at the top
Six reels of four symbols give a fixed 4,096 ways, and wins pay from the leftmost reel with each matching symbol per reel adding ways. Each winning symbol bursts, and the gap fills from above. Above the board a large circle shows the current multiplier, x1 at the start of every base game spin, and a small badge under it shows the next step.
The golden Garuda is the wild. It lands on reels two to five and replaces everything except the red Free Spin symbol. The opening screen shows two of each, a hint at where both features come from.
Three wilds, plus three to the multiplier
Every wild that lands during a spin is collected, cascades included. The first three take the multiplier from x1 to x3, and each further set of three adds another 3: x6, x9, x12 and so on. Base game spins reset the count to x1, so the collection only pays off when wilds arrive within one cascading sequence.
That happened on 8 of my 100 spins. The best base-game example was spin 93: two wilds helped the first round to 43.80 at x1, a third one dropped in with the cascade, and the rest of the spin was paid at x3 for a total of 131.40, eleven stakes.
The six other base-game x3 spins finished between 68.40 and 117.00, so reaching x3 tended to be worth six to eleven stakes. I never saw x6 outside the feature.
Ten free spins that kept the count
Three Free Spin symbols anywhere give 10 free spins, and each extra one adds 2. The feature starts at x1 and uses the same rule, three wilds for +3, but the multiplier is not reset between free spins, so it can only go up.
My trigger came during a cascade. Spin 100 opened with 16.80 at x1, collected its third wild for x3, and Free Spin symbols kept dropping into the gaps until there were three; the spin itself paid 172.80 before the round began. Once the free spins began, the circle went to x3, then x6 with five spins left. That free spin was the big one: the multiplier moved from x3 to x6 during its cascades and the spin closed as a Super Mega Win of 615.60, 51 stakes.
With two spins left the circle showed x9, and the last free spin was played at x12. The ten free spins paid 869.40 in all, and with the 172.80 from the trigger the sequence came to 1,042.20, nearly 87 times the stake.
A collected multiplier works a little like the macaws of Wings of Iguazu, where each bird adds 2, but there every macaw counts at once, while Garuda Gems makes you wait for each set of three.
Purple gem to 9
Six gems and six card ranks share the reels. Values are per way for three, four, five or six of a kind, and dividing the six-of-a-kind value by the 20-point base bet shows one way against the stake:
| Symbol | 3 / 4 / 5 / 6 | Six on one way vs stake |
|---|---|---|
| Purple gem | 20 / 30 / 40 / 50 | 2.5x |
| Red gem | 15 / 20 / 30 / 40 | 2x |
| Orange gem | 10 / 15 / 20 / 30 | 1.5x |
| Green, teal and blue gems | 8 / 10 / 15 / 20 | 1x |
| A, K, Q | 5 / 8 / 10 / 12 | 0.6x |
| J, 10, 9 | 3 / 5 / 8 / 10 | 0.5x |

Patience with the Garuda
Garuda Gems pays often, 42 times in my 100 spins, but mostly small cascades of card ranks and the cheaper gems. The base game's x3 turns up now and then and is worth six to eleven stakes when it does. Everything bigger depends on the free spins, where wilds keep stacking up the multiplier from spin to spin; my round only came at the very end and turned a losing session into a winning one.
