The top symbol pays 200 points for five, ten stakes on a single way, which is a steep step above the girl and far above the bubble letters. The letters, at 0.60 for three, made up most of my wins, and the buckets decided what they were worth.
Water fight on 720 ways
The five reels are three, four, five, four and three symbols high, 720 ways that never change. Ways count from reel one, and winners are washed away for new symbols to fall. The water-pistol wild never appears on the first reel and cannot stand in for the scatter. I played the opening 12.00, so every point in the table further down was worth 0.60.
How the buckets fill
At the start of a spin the three buckets above reels two, three and four are switched off. When a winning symbol sits on one of those reels, its bucket switches on; once it is on, every further winning symbol on that reel adds one to its value. Each round pays the way wins times the sum of the active buckets. Yakuza Honor later gave all five reels a box of this kind, under a 5x5 cluster grid.
Spin 67 shows the pattern. The first round paid 25.20, and the winners on the middle reels lit up the buckets. By the second round they read x4, x2 and x4, ten in total, and a 6.00 win of unicorn floats was paid as 60.00.
Next came 6.00 again at x5, x3 and x4, 72.00, and finally 3.60 at x6, x4 and x5, which added up to x15 and paid 54.00.
Four rounds made 211.20, 17.6 stakes and a Mega Win on the game's scale, from way wins that never passed 25.20 by themselves. The buckets empty when the spin ends, so the next spin starts from nothing.
Buckets that stay full through the bonus
Three scatters open 12 free spins, two extra for every scatter beyond three, with retriggers. The rule for the buckets is the same, with one difference: they are switched off only once, at the start of the round, and then keep everything they collect until the last free spin.
On my spin 82 the buckets reached x8, x5 and x3 within the first five free spins. With six spins left they stood at x13, x9 and x7; the next free spin cascaded long enough to push them to x14, x10 and x8 and paid 1,734.00 by itself.
The buckets finished at x19, x16 and x10, a total of x45, and the 12 free spins came to 2,344.20, close to two hundred stakes.
A slow start and a wet finish
Over the first 65 spins the balance drifted down to 99,451.60. From spin 66 the buckets began to work. Spin 66 paid 67.80, then came the 211.20 described above, 137.40 on spin 70, 121.80 on 75, 99.60 on 79, the free spins on 82 and 105.00 on 94. The last spin left the balance at 102,187.60: 3,387.60 returned against 1,200.00 bet. Thirty-five spins paid, and 3,087.00 of the return came from the seven spins listed.
